Essential Rules for Renting a Luxury Car in Turkey

• Minimum driver age.  Many suppliers set the threshold at 25 for luxury and exotic car rentals, higher than the 21 typical elsewhere in the fleet. Some also expect a longer licence-holding history.

• Driving licence and IDP.  A licence printed in Latin script is usually accepted alone. Anything printed differently will likely need an International Driving Permit as well, arranged before you travel.

• HGS toll system.  Bridges and motorways run on the electronic HGS system. Tolls used during the rental are added to your invoice after the car is returned, not paid at the barrier.
